Forget Me Knot Worldwide Gift Service, Inc has pioneered the gift basket business since 1983. Our company started as a greeting card reminder service in Philadelphia and one day a client asked if we could ship a gift basket with the greeting card we were sending. Of course, we said yes and learned a crucial lesson that we still remember every day -- SOME OF OUR BEST IDEAS COME FROM OUR CLIENTS.

    WHERE ARE THE GIFTS SHIPPED TO???
    Gifts ordered through our website can only be shipped throughout the USA except for certain gifts which are noted in the description that they can be shipped to Canada. We can not ship overseas, however, we can ship the gift to you (boxed with the gift card inside) if you would like to reship it outside our delivery area. Please call your shipping carrier and tell us of any restrictions to your destination.

    SHIPPING METHODS
    NOTE, WE SHIP NON-HOLIDAY MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY ONLY (we can not ship Saturdays, Sundays, holidays or when UPS, DHL, and Fed ex are closed).

    With most gifts you may choose among: Ground Service (delivery NOT guaranteed within a specified time), 2 Day Air (guaranteed within 2 business days of ship date as long as to a proper address and someone there to accept package), Next Day Afternoon (usually by 5 PM to businesses and 7 PM to residences the next business day after ship date), Next Day Morning (usually by 10:30 AM next business day after ship date to MOST of the USA) and Fed Ex Saturday delivery (by noon to most of the USA, not available to all cities). Note: a business day is Monday through Friday non-holiday only (not Sat, Sun or holidays) If you have further questions on delivery please call our office or Fed Ex 1-800-GO-FEDEX. WHEN CALCULATING SHIPPING TIME PLEASE DO NOT INCLUDE ACTUAL SHIP DATE, WEEKENDS OR HOLIDAYS.

    When GROUND service is an available option, there is a map at the bottom of the gift description page which is provided by the carrier. Click the map and it will enlarge and indicate the estimated transit time to your destination for THAT particular gift only. It will also explain alternate shipping methods. (note, we ship some gifts from different areas of the USA so you must choose the map that appears on the page of the gift you are requesting for accurate transit information)

    Generally, we use Federal Express for all our air shipments but we may ship air gifts via UPS or DHL. To determine shipping time for FED EX and other air gifts please do NOT include the day the gift is being shipped, nor Saturday, Sunday or holidays. Thus, shipping 2 day air on a Thursday the package will arrive the following non-holiday Monday. For more detailed explanation of air shipping time please go to your chosen gift description, find the map at the bottom of the page and press the words "Click To See UPS Ground Transit Time." Yes, this area also describes Fed Ex transit time. For FED EX SATURDAY delivery, you must ship a package on Friday and choose the Fed Ex Saturday delivery option on the order form. Shipping on Friday and choosing the "Next Day Morning or Afternoon" options, your gift will arrive the following non-holiday Monday. Any questions, please call our office.

    SHIPPING TIME & CHARGES
    Our site offers a unique feature. Under each description where ground service is available, you may click on a link which brings up a map of the USA and indicates how long it usually takes for your gift to arrive at your destination. Ground shipment charges are based on the destination and boxed weight of gift although most gifts offer one flat shipping rate throughout the U.S. Air shipments are based on the dimensional weight of the box. Shipping charge will be added to your order based on the shipping method you choose during the order entry process in your shopping cart.

    RETURN POLICY
    is simply... If you are not happy for any reason, please call us and then return the gift in saleable condition within seven (7) days of receipt of the gift to PO Box 361 Edgewater, NJ 07020. We will refund 100% of the purchase price plus applicable tax charged (not shipping) back to the credit card that was charged. Original shipping charge and shipping charges you incurred to return the gift are NOT refundable. Opened gift baskets may be returned as long as each component part has not been opened and is returned in saleable condition. If you are unhappy with a perishable product please call our office for instructions. Some items may be subject to a restocking fee.

    If gift is returned to us by the shipping company (Fed Ex, UPS, DHL, messenger, etc) as nondeliverable to the address customer supplied to us, and was never received by the recipient for fault that is NOT the shippers nor ours, or if the recipient refuses the gift and it is returned to us by the shipping company we can reship most gifts (but we must recharge you for the reshipping plus up to 50% of the gift amount if we need to remake the gift) or credit you for the component parts which are reusable by us in the future. Sorry, but perishables, non-reusable component parts, and original shipping charges can not be credited. Some perishable gifts, such as cakes, can not be reshipped and we can not issue a refund.

    SUBSTITUTIONS
    Our website provides details on what is included in each gift, however, we reserve the right to make substitutions with products of equal or great value if necessary. Please note, that from approximately May 15-October 15 or when shipping throughout the year from/to high heat areas we must substitute for most meltable chocolate products because of the heat. It is not always possible to notify you of substitutions in advance of shipment so please call us with any questions if inclusion of a particular product is important to you.

    WHICH CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS DO WE ACCEPT???
    We proudly accept Discover, MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Diners Club.  In most cases, your credit card will not be charged until the day the package is shipped. 
    We ONLY accept credit or debit cards issue by U.S.A. or Canadian banks or credit unions. Sorry, but we do not accept credit cards issued by overseas banks.

    OUR MAILING LIST
    Our mailing list is proprietary.  Rest assured that we will not sell your name, address, phone number, email address, and / or credit card information to any third party for any purposes whatsoever particularly mail or phone solicitation.  We find junk mail, email spam, and unwanted phone calls as annoying and offensive as do you.

    WHEN SHOULD YOU ORDER?
    We suggest ordering as soon as you know you want to send a Forget Me Knot gift. Our computerized order taking system accepts orders up to a year in advance. You may indicate your requested SHIP date on the order form if you choose to order in advance. (Please note, this is SHIP date not arrival date). Each gift description indicates anticipated ship lag time for that particular gift.

    We try to ship orders on the same or next business day if you wish, but to enable us to provide you the best service possible we appreciate any advanced placed orders.  Orders placed Saturday or Sunday will generally ship the following Monday business day.  Please note: during holiday seasons there may be a shipping lag on some products so please order early.

    HOW IMPORTANT IS THE SHIPPING ADDRESS YOU GIVE OUR COMPANY?
    It is crucial that you have the most accurate and complete address possible. This includes a company name if applicable, floor, suite #, apt #, etc. We can not accept responsibility for packages sent to incorrect addresses. If the address is incomplete it may delay receipt of the package and our shippers will likely charge you a fee to correct that address (even if only the apartment or suite number is missing). To avoid problems, please double check all addresses and provide as much delivery information as possible, including the recipient's phone number.
